Meet the “b!tches” of Canine Academy- Teresa, Laurie & Laura- from Greatest American Dog! Laurie & Andrew, Teresa & Leroy, and Laura & Preston will mingle with fans, answer questions, even dish about the other contestants, in the name of charity at Pup ‘N Iron in Fredericksburg, VA from 2pm-4pm. The contestants will be on hand to sign “pawtographs,” take photos, and perform tricks and stunts with their dogs at this charity event. A small (or large) donation to help Friends Fur Life Pet Sanctuary finance and build their no-kill shelter is requested from all participants!

Fredericksburg, VA – August 18, 2008 – You’ve seen them and their dogs performing on the CBS summer reality show Greatest American Dog. Now fans can meet them in person on Sunday, August 24, 2008, from 2:00-4:00pm. That’s right, the three bitches of the Canine Academy and their talented, adorable dogs will be appearing at a charity event to be held at Pup ‘N Iron Canine Fitness & Learning Center in Fredericksburg, VA.
The contestants will be on hand to sign “pawtographs,” take photos with you and your dogs, meet the public and perform tricks and stunts with their dogs at this charity event. All proceeds to benefit the Friends Fur Life Pet Sanctuary organization.
Greatest American Dog which airs on Wednesday nights at 8:00pm on CBS, premiered on July 10 and centers around 12 dog/owner teams vying to win a $250,000 cash prize and the title of Greatest American Dog! The series features the owners and dogs sharing a house and participating in weekly challenges that showcase the dogs’ talent and the owners’ relationships with their dogs. Each week a team is eliminated until one team is left standing. Needless to say, the fur has definitely been flying and these three contestants in particular have been seen causing quite a stir.

It is great to see the top 3 girls here, Teresa, Laurie, and Laura! I see the 3 of you are staying in touch. How about the others? I noticed the picture of Ron and Tilman and Laura and Preston. I hope you all are staying in contact. You all seem like such a great group of people to have on a reality show (minus two really annoying female contestants).

Laurie, I love how you keep your composure no matter what happens. You seem very knowlegable and realistic.
Laura, I was soooo sad to see you go! It should have been Beth Joy….tape on paws? seriously. So, do you read all the talk on cbs.com? Everyone was sad to see you go. There were a few comments about how you should be mad at Travis for backing Beth Joy. Were you really upset about that?

Teresa, I’m so glad to see you’re still on. I like you more and more with each episode. I may say, no one else can sum up Beth Joy quite like you can. You’re hilarious. I loved Leroy with the puppies in the maze! I’m rooting for ya girl.
